Rella Connector Guide
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Connect Rella to your favorite AI assistant and turn plain-language requests into real work in your social workspace — drafting posts, organizing campaigns, pulling analytics, and more.
What is Rella?
Rella is a platform for planning, organizing, analyzing, and publishing your social media content — all in one place. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, note apps, and a dozen browser tabs, your whole content operation lives together: your calendar, captions, media, tasks, and results.
With organizations and social spaces, Rella makes it easy for individuals and teams to manage multiple brands, clients, and social accounts side by side — each with its own content, workflows, and team. And Ella, Rella's built-in AI assistant, can even help you shape your brand voice and set up custom workflows to streamline how you work.
The Rella connector brings all of that into the AI assistant you already chat with.
What is the Rella connector?
The Rella connector is a secure bridge between Rella and any AI assistant that supports connectors (MCP). Once it's linked, you can just talk to your workspace. Ask your assistant to draft a week of posts, find last month's top-performing content, or turn a client email into a set of tasks — and it does the work directly inside Rella, so everything shows up right where your team already works.
Think of it less as a chatbot and more as a hands-on operator for your social workspace. What used to take five tabs now takes one message.
What you can do with it
Here's the kind of thing you can ask for, in plain language:
✍ Plan and create content
Draft captions, choose hashtags, and set up posts for one platform or several at once
Schedule and reschedule posts across your calendar
Bulk-draft an entire content calendar from a single brief
Attach media and apply tags automatically
🗂 Organize your work
Create and update projects, statuses, and tasks
Turn briefs, emails, or loose ideas into trackable to-dos
Keep campaigns tidy by grouping content and tasks together
🔎 Search everything
Find existing content, tasks, notes, media, and tags by keyword or filter
Pull up "everything scheduled next week" or "all drafts for this campaign"
📊 Understand your performance
Pull analytics from your connected social platforms
Ask for trends, comparisons, and plain-English summaries
Get an executive recap you can drop straight into a client report
🖼 Manage media
Add new media to your gallery
Attach existing media to draft posts
👀 Jump into Rella
Ask it to "open the editor" and land right on the post to review or fine-tune before it goes out
Amplify Rella with your assistant's own superpowers
This is where the connector really shines. Your AI assistant doesn't just talk to Rella — it can combine Rella with everything else it can do. A few favorites:
📈 Turn analytics into visuals. Pull your Rella numbers, then ask for charts, dashboards, or a polished one-pager.
🌐 Research and create in one step. Have your assistant search the web for trends or a client's latest news, then draft on-brand posts from what it finds.
📎 Bring in your other tools. If your assistant is also connected to email, docs, a CRM, or a project tracker, you can bridge them: "Check my inbox for this week's client briefs and turn each one into a Rella task."
📄 Export anywhere. Take your content plan or analytics and turn it into a Word doc, spreadsheet, PDF, or slide deck to share with clients.
✨ Level up your copy. Refine captions, adjust tone, translate, or generate variations before anything is scheduled.
Because it all happens in one conversation, your assistant becomes the connective tissue between Rella and the rest of your stack.
Best practices
A few tips for consistently great results:
Set your space first. Rella works across many brands and spaces, so make sure the right social space is active before you start. If a search comes up empty, a different space is usually the culprit — you can switch anytime with something like "switch to the [brand] space."
Give it context and a goal. "Draft 3 Instagram posts announcing our summer sale, upbeat tone, launching Monday" beats "make some posts."
Bring your brand voice. Your assistant doesn't automatically know your Rella brand voice. For on-brand writing, ask Ella in Rella for a quick brand-voice breakdown and paste it into your prompt (or keep it somewhere your assistant can reference).
Review before you schedule. Ask it to open the editor so you can eyeball the caption, media, and timing before anything is locked in.
Work in batches, then refine. Have it draft a whole week at once, then go back and polish the ones you love.
Keep steering in the chat. "Make the second one shorter and end with a question" — it's a conversation, so guide it toward what you want.
Choosing your organization
When you connect, you'll see a quick consent screen where you approve access and choose the organization your assistant will work in. This keeps the connector scoped to one workspace at a time, so it always knows exactly which brand's data it's acting on.
Within that organization, your assistant focuses on one social space at a time — just ask it to switch spaces whenever you need to.
The choice isn't permanent: you can change the connected organization anytime in Rella under Settings → Integrations → AI Clients.
You're always in control
Nothing publishes on its own. The connector can't turn on auto-posting. You review and approve what actually goes live.
You choose what it can touch. Each action can be set to Always allow, Needs approval, or Blocked, so you decide how much runs automatically.
On-demand and private. Your workspace data is only accessed to fulfill the requests you make in chat, and it's never used to train public AI models.
Disconnect anytime. Revoke access from Rella whenever you like.
FAQ
Do I need any technical setup? No. Connecting is copy-a-link and approve — no code required.
Does it work on mobile? Yes, wherever your AI assistant runs.
Can my team use it? Yes — each person connects their own AI account to your Rella organization.
Will it post without me? No. Publishing always stays under your control.
Does it use my Ella credits? No. It runs on your AI app's subscription, not Rella's Ella credits.
A search came back empty — why? Your assistant can only see the social space that's currently active. Double-check the selected space, or ask it to switch to the right one.
