Navigate and Manage Your Workspace Settings
Last updated: June 4, 2026
Coordinating campaign deliverables, client reviews, and social media integrations across multiple businesses can get disorganized fast. Rella’s Settings hub is structured hierarchically, separating personal profile preferences, specific brand workspaces, and overarching billing plans into clear, isolated dashboards. This ensures you can customize your workspace experience and protect sensitive data without cross-client clutter.
About Rella Settings
To support collaborative marketing teams and agencies, Rella separates settings into three distinct management layers:
Account Settings: Your individual user profile, display name, avatar, and personal notification preferences.
Social Space Settings: Configuration panels dedicated to a specific client, brand, or workspace—such as connected social integrations and custom Statuses.
Organization Settings: Overarching administrative controls for your agency or business—such as billing plans, Ella budget limits, user seats, and team member directories.
Labeled Settings Layers
To manage your configurations, click Settings in your main navigation bar. This opens your settings dashboard, which is divided into three key panels.
1. Account Settings
Your account settings are private to you and apply across all organizations and client workspaces you belong to in Rella.
Profile: Customize your Display Name and upload your profile avatar image.
Notifications: Choose how you want to receive system updates, comments, and task deadlines by toggling Email Notifications and In-App Notifications on or off.
2. Social Space Settings
A Social Space is a distinct workspace designed to isolate one brand's content calendar and files from another. Access to these settings is restricted to space owners, managers, and admins.
Social Space Name: Click Rename to update the label of your active workspace (e.g., changing the name to match a new client's brand name).
Integrations: Link or re-authorize your connected social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and more) to enable automated publishing.
Statuses: Access the master status editor to add custom, color-coded progress labels and decide whether each status applies specifically to Content or Tasks.
Autopost: Set space-level default platform settings — such as default titles, visibility, and board selections — that are pre-applied to new Content created in this space.
3. Organization Settings
Your Organization represents the umbrella business or agency account that owns your subscriptions and billing seats. These settings are gated and are only visible to Organization admins and managers.
Organization Name: Set or edit the master business name of your agency.
Billing & Subscriptions: View your current subscription tier (such as Premium or Premium Plus), review monthly AI Usage metrics, and edit your Monthly Ella Budget (Allowed Overage Spend).
Members & Invites: Add new team members, assign organization roles, manage active space allocations, and cancel pending invitations.
Role gates & Permissions
To protect your billing details and brand assets, Rella gates settings panels based on user roles:
Settings Tab | Viewer / Client | Member / Editor | Manager / Admin |
|---|---|---|---|
Account Settings | View & Edit | View & Edit | View & Edit |
Social Space Settings | Hidden | View Only | View & Edit |
Organization Settings | Hidden | Hidden | View & Edit |
Settings FAQs
Why can't I see the Billing or Members tab?
If you are logged into Rella as a standard member, collaborator, or client, administrative settings are hidden from your navigation menu. You must hold at least a Manager or Admin role in your Organization to configure billing details, adjust AI budgets, or invite new team members.
Does changing my display name affect my client workspaces?
Updating your display name inside Account Settings changes your name profile-wide. Whenever you leave comments in the Activity Log, assign a Task, or sign off on workflow runs across any of your assigned Social Spaces, your teammates and clients will see your newly saved display name.
What happens to our integrations if we delete a Social Space?
Deleting a Social Space permanently removes its calendar, media files, and active automated Workflows. Any social accounts linked to that space will be disconnected, but the physical connections can be safely linked to a new space at any time.
