Connecting Rella to an MCP Client - General Guidelines

Many MCP clients are compatible with Rella's MCP. The steps vary depending on where you plan to connect, but here is some general info needed to successfully connect with most agents.

  • Name: Rella

  • URL: https://app.getrella.com/api/mcp

  • Auth Type: OAuth

    • You do not need any specific IDs or tokens (outside of what the provider handles internally)

    • You typically will not have to interact with any "Advanced Settings"

    • If prompted, select "Sign in now" and "Register automatically" when given authentication / client options

  • Note: Some chat interfaces, such as ChatGPT and ClickUp will want you to "Add" the app/connector to your chat context. If this is the case, there will typically be some sort of "+" button where you can find "Rella" and include it within your chat prompt to make the tools available for your agent.
